“Trust is related to communication”

Interview with communication researcher Maria Föttinger

In her master's thesis at the Seminar for General Rhetoric (Prof. Olaf Kramer) Maria Föttinger has developed a proposal on how to quantitatively measure trust in artificial intelligence (AI) research in Cyber Valley. In her pilot study, she examined concrete relationships between trust attitudes and external factors such as prior knowledge about Cyber Valley or basic attitudes about AI. Public Engagement Manager Patrick Klügel spoke with her about the results. (In German)
